    Tetrosyl TBL005 Chassis Paint Black 5L

    A high quality alkyd based paint which provides tough and durable protection against rust and corrosion, together with a decorative gloss finish. Chassis paint can be applied to most suitably prepared surfaces and once fully cured is resistant to Petrol, Derv, Oil and Grease.

    Directions for Use:

    Brush Application – no thinning required

    Hot Spray (Black & Red) – no thinning required

    Cold Spray – 5-10% thinners as required (white spirit or xylene)

    • 1 or 2 coats sprayed as required/1 single coat with brush or roller
    • Approx coverage- 10-12 square metres per litre dependent upon viscosity and film build

    Handleable: 1 hour at 20°C

    Hard dry: 5 hours at 20°C

    Recoatable: 16 hours at 20°C

    Storage: This product is subject to regulations governing the storage of highly flammable liquids and liquefied petroleum gases.

Our Colour Coatings Development Centre is fully staffed and equipped to look after the needs of the refinishing & crash repair market sectors, with products developed in-house and extensively tested in both the laboratory and the test market. These facilities include 2 full-sized low-bake spray booths & ovens, industry-standard bench-top and hand-held spectrophotometers, including multi-angle, using the latest software for predicting matching and quality consistency.
