Tetrosyl Express Limited is the controller of the information you provide. Tetrosyl Express Limited (“we” “us” “our”) (t/a My Motor World) is a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 08506563.

The personal data we collect.

When we will contact you
We may need to contact you to inform you of unforeseen issues relating to your order, which would impact us being able to fulfil your order, for example no stock or pricing errors.
Marketing promotion offers
We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you.
You will receive marketing communications form us if you have requested information from us or made a purchase from us, and you have not opted out of receiving marketing communications.
Opting out
We would like to keep in touch with you, and make sure you don’t miss out on any news, offers, or promotions. You can however opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time. You can do this by clicking the “unsubscribe” link on any of our emails, via your account, or by contacting our Customer Support Team.
If you do opt out, it may take a few days for all our systems to update.
Disclosure of your personal data.
Internal Third Parties
Other companies in the Tetrosyl Group Limited group acting as joint controllers or processors and who are based in England and France, and provide IT, shared services, logistic services, system administration service.
External Third Parties
- Service Providers. Who act as processors providing delivery services, insight services, marketing communication services, and IT services.
- Payment Providers. Which are integrated into our website. When you pay using one of these methods e.g. PayPal, you are redirected to the providers portal. Your use of these services is subject to the terms and conditions and the privacy policies of these providers.
- Our Suppliers. In relation to resolving a product issue you have raised or in the event of a product recall.
All third parties have the requirement to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We shall never sell your data, nor do we allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and permit them only to process your personal data for specified purposes.
Data retention.
How long we use your personal data for
We will retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for.
By law, as a requirement in line with certain product liability provisions under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, we retain your transaction data for a period of ten years after your purchase.
If you message or call our Customer Support Team with an enquiry, but do not place an order, we will keep your personal data for one month.
If you receive marketing communications from us and have not unsubscribed, we will continue to process your personal data until you ask us to stop processing for this purpose.
In some circumstances, you can ask us to delete your data. For further information, please see 'Your legal rights' below.
In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal data, so that it can no longer be associated with you, for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
Your legal rights.
In relation to your personal data, under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws. You have the right to:
- Request Access. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it. This is commonly known as a “data subject access request”).
- Request Correction. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected. We may however need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
- Request Erasure. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. We may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure however, for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
- Objection to Processing. Where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.
- Request Processing Restriction. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: -
- To establish data accuracy
- Use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase it
- The holding of the data even if we no longer require it for legal claim purposes
- You have objected to our use of data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.
- Request Transfer. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine readable format. This right applies only to automated information of which you initially provided consent for us to use or where the information was used to perform a contract with you.
- Withdraw Consent. You can do this at any time, where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. This will not however affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. In the event of you withdrawing your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

Fees
There will be no chargeable fee to access your personal data, or to exercise any other rights. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive. We could alternatively refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
What we’ll need from you
We will request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity, and ensure your right to access your personal data, or to exercise any other rights. This is a required security measure to ensure personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. To speed up our response, we may try to contact you for further information in relation to your request.
Response time limit
We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. It could take us longer than a month if your request is complex or you have made several requests. In any case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

If you fail to provide personal data
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter with you. In this case, we may have to cancel an order you have placed with us, at which point we will notify you this is the case at the time.
Security.
Your privacy and security is our highest priority, which is why we have ensured our website uses secure connections. Look for the padlock in the address bar and the letters ‘https’, as these should always be present when browsing our site.
