These General Terms and Conditions apply to every order placed with MyMotorWorld.com and sets out the terms and conditions that apply to your order.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order with us. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Our contract with you.
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product(s) from us, and we will send you an order acknowledgement. However, your order will only be accepted by us once your product(s) have been dispatched to you. Until then we can decline to supply the goods – we will try to ensure that this never happens, but we do, however, reserve the right not to fulfil your order for any reason if, for example, we have made an error on the price, or our availability has been advised incorrectly. In such circumstances we’ll refund the price you’ve paid to us. We reserve the right not to accept an order for any reason and we won’t be liable to you or anyone else in these circumstances.
Availability.
We endeavour to accurately display our availability and when you can have an item delivered. We rely on computer systems for our stock availability, and although they are incredibly accurate, occasionally they can get it wrong. If stock availability is advised incorrectly, and this impacts our ability to fulfil your order, we will tell you as soon as we know and we will try our best to resolve it for you. You have no claim against us for any cost or loss resulting from any availability issues, delays, or failure to supply.
Website Information.
Whilst we try to ensure the accuracy of our catalogue, all sizes, weights, or measurements quoted on the website are approximate only. Similarly, we've made every effort to detail titles, descriptions, and additional product information as accurately as possible, however may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We have also made efforts to display all product images and colours accurately, however, we can't guarantee that the image displayed on a monitor or screen will accurately reflect the trueness of the product delivered to you. We reserve the right to amend any information at any time if required without notice.
For all applicated products i.e. car parts, it is your responsibility to ensure you check the details on the listing against the part you require. It is your responsibility to ensure that the parts supplied are suitable for the application involved, before fitment. Replacement parts should always be checked against the original ones prior to fitting to ascertain their suitability for purpose.
Any customer reviews of the products we sell are the opinions of customers and do not form part of the specification or description of the product. We shall not be liable if any of the information contained in a customer review proves inaccurate.
We do not accept any liability for losses or damages, that arise as a result of catalogue errors or omissions.
Prices.
All prices we display are in pounds sterling, include VAT, and exclude delivery.
Whilst we try to ensure all the prices on our website are accurate, some prices may be incorrectly listed. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the goods at the correct price. We are under no obligation to provide goods to you at an incorrect, lower price, even after we have acknowledged your order. If we cannot contact you, by phone, email or otherwise, we will treat the order as cancelled and you will receive a full refund of the price paid. You have no claim against us for any cost or loss resulting from any cancelled order under these circumstances.
Payment.
You can pay with several types of credit/debit card. This includes Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, and we do all we can to ensure your details are secure. We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, which doesn't cost you any extra. Your order will not be accepted and dispatched until your payment has been verified. If there are any problems with receiving payment, we'll let you know.
Delivery.
We display delivery information on the website, which is reflective of UK Mainland addresses, and are estimates only. Some geographical considerations may apply, for example out of area locations, such as Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland. All delivery options will be confirmed at checkout, and will be charged depending on your basket contents, basket value, and delivery location. We use third-party carriers to deliver goods, and you are responsible for ensuring that somebody will be available to take delivery of the goods. Our liability for non-delivery will be limited to, at our discretion, replacing the goods within a reasonable time, or a refund of the purchase price paid.
Delivery can only be made to the address as stated on the order and cannot be amended once an order has been placed.
Cancellations.
Once you have placed your order and have received an order confirmation, we are unable to cancel your order. In this instance, you will either need to reject delivery, or, accept delivery and subsequently return the goods. A refund will be processed within 14 days of the goods being received at our returns centre. We will not be liable for any costs in this instance.
Returns & Exchanges.
If you no longer need your item, and would like to return, you’ll need to let us know within 60 days of delivery, to receive a refund. This is longer than the 14-day cooling off period for distance sales as outlined in your statutory rights. If you return your item in original resaleable condition, in original packaging, unused and unfitted, you’ll receive a full refund. Any item that isn’t, we can’t accept the return unless the item is damaged or faulty. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of being received at our returns centre. You will be responsible for the costs involved in returning your items.
Should you need to exchange an item, you will need to return the item that is not needed, following our return policy, and place a new order for the new item. You will be responsible for any costs involved.
Damaged Items.
We are sorry if your item has arrived damaged. If your item arrives damaged, you must let us know within 7 days of receiving your order. You will need to provide photographs of the goods, for us to assess the damage and determine best course of resolution. Upon successful damaged item claim, you will be offered a refund or replacement at our discretion.
Warranty Parts & Faulty Items.
Any warranty that is provided starts from the date of delivery. If the item is replaced within the warranty period, the warranty does not renew, and you will benefit only from the remaining warranty period. Warranties are not transferrable to any other party. Warranties cover faults found from manufacturing defects only, and do not cover defects arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, tampering of goods, abnormal working conditions, or incorrect fitting, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you believe an item is faulty due to manufacturing defect, you will need to contact us to raise a warranty claim. You will need to complete a warranty claim form, of which we will provide, along with any photographs requested by us, for us to assess your claim. We will assess your claim, and in some cases, we will be required to send the item off to the manufacturer to be inspected and tested, in which case you will allow us reasonable time to do so. If the item is deemed faulty through manufacturing defects, you will receive a full refund, or replacement, whichever you choose. If the item is not deemed as faulty through manufacturing defects, your claim will be declined, and you will have the option to have the item returned to you, at your cost. If you need a replacement item during this process, you will need to purchase the item, and you will receive a refund for the faulty parts should your claim be successful.
We will not accept liability to you in respect of costs of losses incurred, such as, but not limited to, loss of earnings, travel expenses, recovery costs and damages.
Liability of Parts Fitment.
We endeavour to advise accurately on parts fitment, however sometimes errors may happen, or the incorrect parts are dispatched to you. Before installing a part you have purchased, you are obligated to check visually by comparing with the original part being replaced as to whether the part ordered and delivered is suitable for your car, for example fitment connections and sizes. We do always recommend parts are replaced by a trained mechanic/technician. Any parts that are installed incorrectly, and/or, are not installed by a trained professional, are not covered by warranty.
If the part you have purchased/received differs in dimensions, shape or material/s from the original part being replaced, please contact us for further clarification before the part is installed, adapted, or modified.
In all instances, it is your responsibility to assure yourself that the parts supplied are suitable for the application involved and we won’t be held liable to you or anyone else, should the incorrect parts be fitted to a vehicle.
Left Hand (LH) and Right Hand (RH) fitting positions are stated as if sitting in the driver's seat.
Promotions.
Sometimes, we offer special promotional codes or discounts through various channels for both new and existing customers. When you use these promotional codes, you agree to our terms and conditions.
A promotional code cannot be used at the same time as any other offer or discount. Only one code per transaction, and you can't exchange it for cash. Discounts are not applicable to delivery charges. If a promotional code requires a minimum spending amount, you can only use it when buying qualifying products.
Each promotional code is valid for a specific period, on specified dates, and for certain products. If no period is mentioned, it's valid for no longer than 3 days from when it's launched and only while the promotional code is available.
We have the right to cancel or withdraw any promotional code at any time. We may refuse participation, reject orders if we think the code is invalid, or exclude certain products, brands or groups of products from any promotion.
Member Perks.
As a My Motor World Member, you have access to exclusive Member Perks, as detailed on our Member Perks page. Members are defined as users who sign up to MyMotorWorld.com by creating an account and becoming a registered customer.
The terms and conditions that apply to Member Perks Offers are detailed below.
We reserve the right to amend or remove Member Perks, Member Perks Offers, and the relating terms and conditions, at any time without notice.
Member Discounts
Only members will qualify for member discounts. Applicable member discounts will be shown on the product pages and will be confirmed in basket. You must be logged in to your My Motor World account in order to activate applicable member discounts. We are unable to process or refund member discounts post-purchase for orders placed as a guest user i.e. not logged in. Member discounts may vary for each product, and some product restrictions may apply, where member discounts will not be applicable. Member discounts are not applicable on delivery charges. Member discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Member discounts can be removed, changed, or ended at any time without notice.
Member Deals
Only members will qualify for member deals. Applicable member deals will be detailed on our Member Perks page and will be confirmed in basket. Member deals will either be automatically added to your basket or will require a discount code to be inputted by you in basket before checkout, the method of which will be detailed on the Member Perks page on the relevant member deal. Member deals will be applied to qualifying purchases as detailed on the member deal. You must be logged in to your My Motor World account in order to activate applicable member deals. We are unable to process member deals post-purchase for orders placed as a guest user i.e. not logged in. Member deals cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Member deals can be removed, changed, or ended at any time without notice.
Member Reward Points
Earning Points
Only members will qualify to earn member reward points. Member reward points are earned when you spend on MyMotorWorld.com. You will collect 1 point for every £1 you spend, and from time to time, you may earn more points for every £1 spent, as part of our bonus member reward point events. You must be logged in to your My Motor World account when placing an order, to earn member reward points and have them credited to your account. We are unable to credit member reward points post-purchase, and for orders placed as a guest user i.e. not logged in. Member reward points will be confirmed in basket and credited to your account upon dispatch of your order. Member reward points will be deducted for cancelled, refunded, and returned items. If your member reward points have been used, the value will be deducted from any refund that is due. Some products may not be eligible for earning member reward points and will be detailed on product pages, in basket, and our member reward points page. Some product restrictions may apply, and you will be notified on product pages and in basket. Member reward points cannot be earned on delivery charges. Member reward points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged as such. Member reward points will expire 12 months from the date of being credited to your account.
Spending Points
As a My Motor World Member, you can use member reward points to discount your orders placed on MyMotorWorld.com. You can spend member reward points to the full, or partial, value of your order. The current conversion of member reward points is one point has a value of one penny. You must be logged in to your My Motor World account when placing an order, to spend your member reward points. We are unable to discount or refund your order by way of member reward points post-purchase. Some products may not be eligible for spending member reward points and will be detailed in basket, and our member reward points page.
Member reward points are not applicable on delivery charges. Member reward points cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Member reward points can be removed, changed, or ended at any time without notice.
Member Free Gifts
Only members will qualify for member free gifts. Applicable member free gifts will be detailed on our Member Perks page and will be confirmed in basket. Member free gifts will either be automatically added to your basket when adding a qualifying item to your basket or will require a discount code to be inputted by you in basket before checkout, the method of which will be detailed on the Member Perks page on the relevant member free gift offer. You must be logged in to your My Motor World account in order to activate applicable member free gift offers. We are unable to process member free gifts post-purchase for orders placed as a guest user i.e. not logged in. Free gifts will be dispatched with the relevant items from your qualifying order. If you wish to return an order or item which qualified for a free gift, the order or item can only be refunded if the free gift is also returned. We reserve the right to reject a return or refund request if the free item cannot be returned. Return terms and conditions apply. Member free gift offers are subject to availability and can be removed, changed, or ended at any time without notice. Free gifts may be limited to one per customer. Member free gifts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Member Free Giveaways
